☆ Paris Week 1 ☆

Our next destination is Paris. Leaving London was so hard, but we were excited for our next adventure. I still miss London because it feels more like a home to me, but I also love Paris.

TUESDAY

We were going to climb the Arc de Triomphe but, unfortunately, the workers were on strike. I wasn’t too upset though because I had just met Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds and I was on cloud 9. We walked around Champs Elysées for a bit, window shopped and ate some really good macaroons. We also walked through the Tuileries Gardens on our way to La Saint Chapelle, which was beautiful. After class we went out with a few other girls in our group and got food because we were starving after not eating for about 7 hours.

I actually had a lot of questions from people asking where I got this dress. I bought it from Urban Outfitters. It’s really comfortable but in the heat it felt a lot heavier than I anticipated. I love this dress though so I will still wear whether its 90 degrees or 60.

WEDNESDAY

We had some classwork to do on Wednesday morning, but in the afternoon we went to the top of the Eiffel Tower. I only made it to the second level because I don’t like heights. Later that night we went back to the park in front of the Eiffel tower and sat and ate ice cream for a little until the lighting was perfect for some photos. It was so peaceful and we are hoping to spend more nights like these.

This dress is also from Urban Outfitters (They should sponsor me I’m obsessed). I would normally wear this outfit with some wedges but I didn’t get the chance to go back to my apartment to change my shoes.

THURSDAY

We went to a cemetery which was cool I guess if you want to walk around dead people. For lunch we went to this amazing falafel restaurant and it was the best thing ever I need to go back. We decided to stay and walk around that area after. There were rainbow flags all over the streets and rainbows were even painted on the roads next to the crosswalks for gay pride. It was such a great community and I really want to go back on a day that I have more energy.

I only took one picture of my outfit because I suck but I wore my overall dress from New Look and a simple white t-shirt underneath.

FRIDAY

We went to Versailles which was incredible. The hall of mirrors was stunning but I couldn’t really get a good picture because it was packed, which is not fun if you are claustrophobic btw. It has been so cool to actually step foot in the places that you learn so much about in school.

I wore my black crop top from Zara and the skirt that I stole from my mom that I featured in my Mother’s day blog. If you haven’t read it, she bought it from a designer in NYC. I wore my Steve Madden platforms which was a mistake considering we were walking on very uneven ground for most of our time here. If you ever find yourself at Versailles I highly suggest wearing sneakers.

SATURDAY

Saturday was our shopping day, but in the evening we got together with some other girls in our group and had a picnic at the Eiffel Tower. This was one of my favorite nights so far. We drank some Rosé and watched the tower light up. I definitely need to do this again because it was surreal.

I literally bought everything I’m wearing that day. My shoes are FILA and yes I splurged but I have wanted these for so long and I found some with roses on them so I obviously had to buy them. My top and pants are both from Pull&Bear which is a company that you can only find in Europe. It was probably the only store we could find that was actually affordable and not an American store.

☆ London Week 2 ☆

These past two weeks in London have been insane and I have fallen in love with the city. I have met some amazing people and making amazing memories with my friends. London, you will be missed.

SUNDAY

We went to this super expensive restaurant called Aubaine for brunch because we found it on Instagram and it was way too cute not to go. Instead of spending £30 on brunch, we went the cheap route and got salads (which actually ended up being the best we have ever had, I can’t imagine how the actual entrees taste).

Image 6-16-18 at 5.42 PMImage 6-16-18 at 5.42 PM (1)After brunch we went all the way to zone five (if you don’t know what this means it means that it was really freaking far) to take some photos in a cafe called God’s Own Junkyard, only to find out you need to book an appointment to use a camera there. We snuck ours out for a few shots anyway, shhh._MG_8260Image 6-16-18 at 5.29 PM.jpgImage 6-16-18 at 5.34 PM.jpgImage 6-16-18 at 5.26 PM

I wore my white bodysuit from Brandy Melville along with my mom jeans from Urban Outfitters. I also wore my new hat from River Island because I wanted to add something girly to my outfit. And yes I wore all of these articles of clothing last week but clothes are rare when you’re living out of a suitcase.

MONDAY

We had class on Monday morning and then we visited the Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum which was creepy but surprisingly really fun. Then we explored Camden town, which was a cool little down with unique little shops as well as a lot of tourists. I bought some handmade jewelry from one of the little booths, which I will show in my London Haul blog! While we were there a fight broke out and we got locked inside a Starbucks, good times.

Image 6-16-18 at 5.59 PMImage 6-16-18 at 6.08 PMImage 6-16-18 at 6.05 PM.jpgI wore my black bodysuit from Forever 21 with my new striped pants from Brandy Melville. And of course I always carry around my glasses from Urban in case I need to whip them out for a picture. I didn’t get the chance to get a full body picture but hopefully you get the point.

TUESDAY

Tuesday was exhausting because we had to be ready at 7:30 am for our bus ride to Lacock Abbey. It was worth it because not only is this where Talbot invented photography, it is is also where parts of Harry Potter were filmed.

Then we took the bus to Stonehenge and took some touristy pictures of course. There were so many sheep around it was so exciting.

I wanted to be comfy for this day so I wore my new jumpsuit from Bershka. It’s the softest material and made it easy to sleep on the bus because…priorities. I also always have my new purse on me from Vendula London.

WEDNESDAY

We spent hours doing some classwork in a museum on Wednesday and we were all pretty hangry until we finally ate lunch. After lunch we went to the Tower of London which is right next to the London Bridge. We took a few photos here and then headed out for some more shopping. During our shopping trip we decided we absolutely needed bubble tea, we took two trains to get to Soho and while we were trying to find it, we accidentally ran into the Ocean’s 8 premiere! We were so close to the actresses and in shock that we had just somehow stumbled across this.

My entire outfit is from Forever 21 because London has me broke. These jeans are one of my favorite things and I got so many compliments on them that day I was so happy.

THURSDAY & Friday

I don’t have any good pictures from these days 😦

On Thursday we went to the V&A all morning and worked on some assignments. This museum was incredible but I don’t have any good quality pictures, I guess you will just have to experience it for yourself someday! That night we ate at an Indian restaurant called Aladdin and then went to an art student for students finishing college. The artwork was incredible and I honestly am considering going to school here.

On Friday we spent the whole day in class reviewing our work (and I bought something, oops). After 4 hours in the classroom we were so drained that we decided to call it a night and finally catch up on Netflix (I highly recommend Jane the Virgin if you haven’t already watched it).

SATURDAY

Ah yes, finally the weekend. We dedicated this day to our “instagram day” where we explored a few “instagrammable” places. Our first stop was a restaurant called Sketch, but when we got there we decided not to go in because it was super pricey and everyone was very dressed up. From here we walked to Snowflake Luxury Gelato to get some Avolato that we had seen on the Insider instagram page. I don’t even like avocados but it was still worth the £10. On the way back we stopped inside another cute ice cream store (there were so many) to take some pictures. I bought a coffee because I couldn’t eat anymore ice cream but I didn’t want to be rude.

Then we finally made it to the Buckingham Palace after attempting multiple times within the past two weeks. Honestly I was kind of disappointed that the Queen didn’t come out and greet me but I guess it’s fine.

Image 6-16-18 at 7.27 PM.jpgImage 6-16-18 at 7.28 PMImage 6-16-18 at 4.42 PM.jpg

I wore my white bodysuit from Brandy Melville (again, I know). My pants are also from Brandy and then I threw on my jean jacket from Topshop because it was kind of cold.
